Move and improve safely and at your own pace, with evidence-informed support.

If you're feeling unsure about exercise after a cancer diagnosis, you're not alone!

Many people know that exercise is important during and after cancer treatment, but don’t know where to start, what is safe, or how to begin with confidence. Too often, people are left trying to figure it out on their own.
We’re here to change that.

The Cancer Movement provides FREE, evidence-informed exercise support for people living with and beyond cancer, with simple guidance to help you move safely and confidently at your own pace.

You do not need to do everything. You just need to begin somewhere.

Who Are We?

The Cancer Movement was founded by Sarah Newman and Steph Lightfoot, cancer survivors and cancer exercise specialists working to make exercise after cancer feel clearer, safer and more accessible. Together, we combine lived experience, evidence-informed practice and real-world support to help bridge the gap between knowing exercise matters and knowing how to start. We work with specialists in exercise oncology from around the world to provide the most up to date, research backed exercise support for cancer patients.
